Sorry, no. Read the Bible. There are thousands of wars that were fought back then and they really never stopped. When the British made colonies out of many of the countries I believe some order was restored, but after that the countries won their independence...and proved unable to keep some element of peace.


If you are talking about Israel, it was formed as a modern state in the late 1800's, the land was given to the jewish people by the british ( i think) as reparation for the European's bad treatment of them. The creation of the state of Israel displaced the Palestinian people, which is what caused the present outrage.

there has never been peace in the middle east. there was an unwanted British occupation before that and many years before that there was the crusades and on and on. it is the holy land but ironically the closest you can get to hell on earth.
No there has been fighting going on for thousands of years. If you look back even in the bible there is differences in the middle east. You dont' hear of bloods attcacking crips do you? The middle east will always have conflict.

No. that area was split up after WWI I think and because they didn't pay attention to ethnic boundaries they grouped groups together who hated one another. I'm pretty sure this is the truth you might wnat to cross reference but you know,, WWI did destroy the world
