Is it true that Asian men ( South east asia) prefer to wear speedos to swimming pool? Why?

Unlike the rest of the world, the USA is a bunch of prudes who think they are gangbangers and have to wear boardies past their knees.


In Europe, it is against the rules due to sanitation concerns for men to wear anything but briefs (Speedo, TYR or whatever brand).


Australia and New Zealand, boardies almost do not exist.


In SE Asia, I expect the same is true as in Australia and NZ.

On my visits to China that is the prefered swimwear of the guys. For those who are visiting America, they are wearing what they are used to, for those born in the States, not certain why it would be their preference. Most of them have lean bodies and can wear them well.
