I live in Chicago and want to move to a warmer climate.I just got off the phone with a realtor and this is what she told me.The west coast, gulf side, the winter is colder and the summer is hotter.I was looking at Boca Raton, a villa that is reasonably priced.Of course she wants to sell her property, what say you? Pensacola area, or ?A realtor just told me that the east coast of Florida is more desirable than the west coast, true or false?
Your realtor is correct. I lived in the Boca Raton area for over 25 years.
The West coast of Florida has dirtier beaches and is more often crowded by elderly residents than the East Coast. Of course, Florida is G-d's waiting room anyway, so you'll find a lot of elderly everywhere, but I found that a lot more were living on the West coast.A realtor just told me that the east coast of Florida is more desirable than the west coast, true or false?
Boca Raton is one of the most expensive areas to live in the whole country - the east coast of FLA will always be hit worse by storms/hurricanes, etc than the west coast - I doubt it is much ';colder'; then the east - at the same north/south line (latitude?) it's not going to be more a couple of degrees different
Isn't it a matter of opinion? She thinks! Who cares what she thinks, you're the client... Both coasts are great, if you like a more tropical place with white sand beaches, that would be the west coast. If you like exciting fun places to visit, the try the east coast.
that is bs. that is just her personal opinion. temp is same.
Pensacola no! go at least south to sarasota. naples is nicest on gulf side.
';desireable';...
there are no hurricanes in the west but they do have
earthquakes..........and illegal aliens
Hurricane's visit the East coast first !
