Is it true that the Middle East nations owe almost all there wealth to oil?

Have they ever engaged in any other business to amass their fortunes? Is it true that the Middle East nations owe almost all there wealth to oil?
Statistically speaking, I'd imagine that yes, most of the rich middle eastern countries do owe their wealth to oil. Think about it....

Really, what else is there in the middle east? Sand? Sure, put the world has plenty of that in other places. I'm sure there are other things they could sell but I don't think it would have such a huge economic impact as having most of the world's oil does.

I hope my answer helps you out!Is it true that the Middle East nations owe almost all there wealth to oil?
yes, Oil is satans blood

it will destory our peace

Oil has ruin the world

it is the worse weapon

it is worse then any weapon in the world.

it is the whore of babylon
Very few are capable of having peace among themselves for enough time to develop any type of industry. If it wasn麓t for the oil reserves they wouldn麓t have anything to finance their wars.
yup oil is the black gold of the world mostly traded for greenbacks, but that will change soon
Sure. What else is there besides sand and camels?
