Is it true that East Indian men don't or will not marry a white women?

I am a white girl recently dating an East Indian man and things are going great. But I heard things on how an East Indian man won't marry outside his culture. Is this true? The guy I am seeing, 35, was born in India, but has been living in the U.S. for over 10 years.Is it true that East Indian men don't or will not marry a white women?

No, not true. I know several East Indian men married to white women and vice versa. The only impediment at times is if the families have strict religious issues.

I dated a east indian man too. Wow, was I surprised when I asked him if we were going to get married. He then confessed he had to have an arranged marriage, that his parents told him he wasn't allowed to even LOOK at an american girl. he was 27.


he ended up marrying a Chinese woman who was a doctor too.


My son dated two girls, one Indian from India, one from Lebonon. Both were not allowed to date American boys. Both did. My son got hurt two times.

Why don't you ask him about the beliefs about marriage in his culture? I'm sure there's an East Indian man that have married white women but that's not common. ';Indian, Arab, Muslim, Saudis...I don't think they often marry outside of their race, but he is dating you. So, that's a start, right?
East Indian men marry all kinds of women. In our family, we have white, jewish, swiss-german, black, etc.





Additionally, my parents don't care who I marry. So, yes, they marry everybody.
I know many Indians that are married to white... but I know a lot of indians that don't marry their GF... you need to tell me more about it. Where is he from exactly?
No, it's not true. Most Indians will marry within their ethnic group and religion, but not all.
