I heard a report given some time ago that there is another set of planets north east of the sun is this true?

How can anything be north-east of the sun? The sun doesn't really have the normal directions we have and depending where you're looking at it from the sun, it could be north-east, north-west, north. I'm pretty sure this report you heard was full of crap.I heard a report given some time ago that there is another set of planets north east of the sun is this true?
Something can be ';North'; of the Sun but East?, it is a spinning ball, how would one determine East of any round spinning object?I heard a report given some time ago that there is another set of planets north east of the sun is this true?
There are planets in all directions of us.
Hon, there are other galaxies, other sun systems outside of our own. The planets in our system revolve completely around the sun covering all perceived directions, so practically, there would be no planets to the northeast of the sun. There have been some recent discoveries of what they call 'dwarf' planets in our solar system in recent years. It's possible that may be what you are asking about.

Various star systems have shown evidence of having planets. As far as direct evidence, at this time our technology will discover only rather massive planets, but yes there are planets orbiting other stars.

Within the solar system, there are eight planets and a few minor planets (the current official term is dwarf planets) of which we know plus a number of moons. The minor planets are mainly in the Kuiper belt which begins at about the orbit of Neptune (30 times as far from the sun as Earth) and extends to a distance of 55 times as far from the sun as is the Earth.

Now for the extrasolar planets or exoplanets, there is a catalog of them. Some of them are relatively small (at least one is 1.9 times the mass of earth orbiting a dim red star every three days) and technology is improving. Some new techniques may be able to detect liquid water.
No. You cannot have a set of planets ';north east'; of the sun, that is impossible. North, East, West, and South deal with directions respective to the Earth. Therefore, how could there possibly be any planet north east of the sun?
