Why do many men from middle east act like they dont care that much about opposite gender? is this true?

is it only this area of the world?

is it islam or what is this?

i see so many walk together and talk together,..but hardly ever women..lol

and i have spoken to some that are like ';Why a MAN needs a woman';?..lol

why they are like this you think and do you agree?%26gt;

which area of the world are you? and how is this there or not or hwo different? and why you think?

thanks for your answers! Why do many men from middle east act like they dont care that much about opposite gender? is this true?
In the Muslim religion the female is seen as a chattel, that is the property of the man of the house, in much the same way as they view sheep, goats, cows, camels or horses.

We in the West value the female population and understand, finally, that whilst there are differences between the sexes, there is equality.

Give it time, because here in London I can tell you that it is the young women of the Islam religion that are changing things; mostly they want to adopt western attitudes and they dress accordingly.

What we HAVE to do is make sure they (the young girls) get the full opportunity to make their case felt - all so-called ';honour killings'; should be rigorously followed up and investigated all disappearances of young asian women from UK towns need to be investigated to ensure they have not been shipped back to their ethnic origin and forced to marry someone against their will.

These young girls are at the fore-front of the drive to integrate the asian people into the UK - one final point; they ( they asian community) work bl**dy hard and deserve their success.

Good luck to all Asians in England that want to be here and like our culture. Why do many men from middle east act like they dont care that much about opposite gender? is this true?
Some Men think that Ignoring is better than getting your heart broke. i am sure they will change their minds when the 'right one' comes by.

I am a Strictly-business type of guy who doesnt hang out a lot. but well.. i feel pretty much that everyone consider me a stranger being raised abroad (born and raised in Switzerland). Where i live people tend to get 'close on themselves'

Business-wise i only deal with men. but well .. i dont 'have this stone age brain' you talk about.

Of course religion does effect people and judgement too as like Neighborhood and Lifestyle does too.

Wich area of the world i am : I am lost . wandering somewhere south cairo , it is pretty much different and force myself to fit in.

Cheers

@ Roger M

what the **** are you talking baout?!! you're very ignorant you don't know anything about islam or Muslims , Islam honored women %26amp; gave her all her rights . Islam protects women from idiots like you , girls at your country can't count how many guy ****** her when she reaches 18 , women at your country are a machine, a human machine that you use in every freaking way to gain money, commercials , movies , porn , .... etc

your country have a very serious issue thousands of women raising their kid(s) without knowing where or who is his dad , raised without a dad , sometimes without a mother as well ,

so shut the **** up %26amp; don't ******* talk about Islam or women rights in Islam
I have to completely disagree as my husband is egyptian and treats me like a queen

I have also had egyptian/arab friends who are the most hospitable people who treat women with the utmost love and respect, they adore their mothers wives and daughters.

Its cultural ignorance that makes people behave this way unfortunately

salaams x
no happens in evey part of the world where there are muslims

i.e east africa

because it's looked down upon and it's haram because friendships with a none immediate family females leads to....well you now what.

@a賱oo毓a i didn't know u identified as a man.
This happens in many Muslim countries.......but its not like they talk to no girls whatsoever!

Its just that the major religon (Islam) bans us from having boyfriends/girlfriends or excessive communication with eachother.

They are just being conservative, which is the right thing to do.
@Roger shithead: From my past experiences I've seen women in Germany and Holland sitting in glass windows in the streets for general use.. Now is that how the west values women you fu*** idiot?
dude where the hell did u go in the middle east, in egypt guys talk to grls but again many egyptians are very conservative

@ROGER- im gonna put an Egyptian spell on u dont make me get the pharoahs on ur azss. denta ghaby
That doesn't happen in Egypt. In Egypt, they treat eachother as brothers and sisters.
You don't know what you are talking about.

It is the complete opposite.
@Roger M. That is what I call stupidity. Someone who doesnt know a thing about Islam yet commenting on it. Honor killings, no one does that anymore. Egyptian Men (ME men) are the best men ever. They respect us women. We are equal. Middle Eastern men are gentlemen, and im happy that one day ill be marrying some of the greatest men ever. My papa is ME and well he's just awesome. He would never ever let my mama pay for a thing, always supports her and us, calm, patient, religious he's great and so are most of the men in my family.

@asker it's because we are muslims. And we are supposed to lower our gaze, not interact with eachother. For the reason being, those things lead up to other things like holding hands at first and than hugging, and than so on.

I totally agree. If a man respects a woman and is really serious than he should come talk with my parents and ask them for their approval in getting engaged. Dating and all that other stuff to me seems like fooling around, and not really being commited.

Born and raised in the US, but background is Egyptian. .
