Is it true that CONS only CLAIM to want democracy in the Middle East ?

Aren't Iran and Palestien demacracies ?Is it true that CONS only CLAIM to want democracy in the Middle East ?
They don't even want democracy in the United States! Why in the world would they want other countries to have it????Is it true that CONS only CLAIM to want democracy in the Middle East ?
be it true that you be got edumecated
A genocidal dictator was removed saving thousands of Iraqis from torture and death. Inevitably, once a dictator is removed a power struggle ensues. Stop trying to rile up your tree-hugging friends and grow up.
Your spelling inhales.

*LOL* At least the Cons are claiming to want democracy. Libs only want a democracy where everyone bows to their wishes.
I THINK SO. IRANS SHAH A DICTATOR WAS PUT IN POWER BY EISENHOWERS ADMINISTATION AND BUILT UP HIS MILITARY OVER THE NEXT 20 YEARS MAKING THEM THE FOURTH LARGEST MILITARY IN THE WORLD AND EVEN BUILT THE FIRST NUKE REACTOR FOR HIM. AFTER THE OVERTHROW OF THE SHAH WE BECAME THIER ENEMY. SADDAM WAS PUT IN POWER BY THE HELP OF WESTERN INTELLAGENCE AGENCIES US AND GRAET BRIT WE ALSO BUILT HIS MILITARY UP AND BACKED HIM IN A WAR AGAIST IRAN AFTER THEY REVOLTED AGAIST THE SHAH I COULD ELABORATE MORE BUT I AM AT WORK AND NEED TO LEAVE
No iran is not a democracy. The president gets his orders from th Iatolah. So while on the surface people feel better about voting, its the same guy until he gives it up or dies that gives the orders. And for Palestine, while maybe a democracy its roots are in hatred of the Jews at all party levels. So it would be like you having to choose between several people from the same party...
They do want democracy in the Middle East...that will be friendly to their interests. Unfortunately they don't pay attention to the fact that most people in the Middle East don't like us and probably never will as long as we meddle in their affairs. As a result the democracies that spring up are likely to vote people in who hate the U.S.
cons claim what faux newz tells them to claim

It'll change next week...
They do prefer democracies but will settle for stable governments who do not pose a threat to the stability of the Middle East. The stability of the Middle East is very important for us since it is where we get much of our oil. A Middle East that is unstable will wreak havoc to our economy which is mostly based on oil. As for most people over there hating us, it is true. We are their enemy because we are to them infidels. They want us to convert or DIE! The reason they concentrate on the US is because we are their greatest threat - most power full non-Muslim country.
Iran is not a democracy, because the election system is a farse.

Palestine is, that's true, but it's not a very functional one because it lives under the thumb of Israel.

Moving on...the US has historically NOT supported democracy in the Middle East (just look at Egypt and it's love for Saudi Arabia, who hasn't had an actual election that involved more than 5% of the people ever, and suppressed popular uprisings in Iraq when Saddam Hussein first took power).

It's a cover to go to war with whomever they want, whenever they like.
