What happens to the middle east if Iraq becomes a true democracy?

I would submit that 'Democracy' In Iraq will not resemble what ours does. Nor should it, there are cultural differences that should remain and they will put together a political system that will work for them.

However a friendly state in the middle east does offer certain strategic advantages to our nation. This may even show citizens in neighboring states that things can be different.

Long term goals. Or dreams depending on your view. What happens to the middle east if Iraq becomes a true democracy?
Walk up you have a nightmareWhat happens to the middle east if Iraq becomes a true democracy?
Joke, right?
Iraq is now nominally a republic, and democracy is no guarantee of anything, contrary to what our politicians would have you believe. The former Soviet Union, the People's REPUBLIC of China, and the Islamic REPUBLIC of Iran are all forms of democracy. The former government of Iraq and the nation of Libya were both governed by forms of democracy.

Adolph Hitler rose to power under a form of democracy.
Even your great grand kids will never see this happen.
Big oil for all it's corruption is our best counter weight to OPEC. If Iraq becomes a democracy and contracts to U.S. companies Iran and Venezuela suffer a blow to economic power . . .
The Saudis Royal family will be crying and moving more money into Switzerland.
