Is it true that Polynesians originated from South-east Asia?

Yes, blood test indicate this. Poly means many, so put that together and Polynesian would just mean many Asians. As the people settled in Pacific islands such as Samoa, Tonga, Hawaii, etc. they began to mix with the people of Melanesia who are descendants of black people, then the Europeans came in the 1600's and also started to mix with Polynesians. Even the languages can be linked. Is it true that Polynesians originated from South-east Asia?
The Polynesian forebears were from South East Asia conclusively. They had their own culture which was different from the later developed Polynesian culture. The Polynesian race from a scientific perspective is a speciation derived from the intermixing of ancient forebears. Scientific scholars of Hawaii attribute the Polynesians as the bloodline intermixing of an ancient mongoloid race of forebears and a ******* race of forebears, hence their Egyptian like morphologies. Malayo-Polynesian is a consequence of influences yet genotypes %26amp; phenotypes affirm the Hawaii scientific determination.

The children of the Polynesian forebears were then genetically drifted into isolation and maintained in the Samoa-Tonga area 2000-500BC, Savai'i %26amp; Upolu in particular. They developed a unique Polynesian culture to meet their needs for survival. A culture anciently based on strong family values, community sharing %26amp; responsibility and a valued respect for community elders, a community-centered or ' communism ' ideology. In this discussion, we will first analyze Population Genetics as it applies to the development or evolution of the Polynesian people, and then focus to analyze the development of their unique Polynesian culture. Is it true that Polynesians originated from South-east Asia?
Here is a definitive answer to your question: http://dnatribes.com/sample-results/dnat鈥?/a>

Notice that Polynesians are *most closely related*, genetically, to *Africans*. Go ahead and read how the study was done. It is very sound science.

I find it very interesting that genetic similarity often has little to do with obvious physical similarities.

I have read that genetics connect the Polynesians with the indigenous people of the island of Taiwan and the indigenous Ainu people of Japan. So more East Asia rather than South East Asia.
